David Van Reybrouck (winnaar Prix Médicis) praat met de beroemde Marokkaans-Franse auteur Tahar Ben Jelloun. Schrijfster Naema Tahir is ook juriste gespecialiseerd in mensenrechten en migratie. De Congolees In Koli Jean Bofane leest een fragment uit zijn succesroman Congolese wiskunde (2011). Hij woont in Brussel, net als de Serviër Dejan Anastasijevic, die vluchtte na bedreigingen van het Milosevicregime. Ook de Palestijnse journaliste Fatena Al-Ghorra vluchtte hierheen. Zij brengt haar indringende poëzie. Chris De Stoop leest, speciaal voor de gelegenheid, een nieuwe tekst over de mensenrechten in België. Voor de muziek zorgt Afonike, twee jonge mannen die oeroude Afrikaanse roots en urban street culture samenbrengen. De presentatie is in handen van Ruth Joos.
