Op de gemeenteraden van Rumst en Boom van juni werd deel B van de Uniforme codex van politieverordeningen “politiereglement van kracht tijdens Tomorrowland/Dreamville” aangepast. De belangrijkste wijzigingen tegenover vorige jaren werden doorgevoerd op vlak van ambulante handel op privaat domein, campinggasten en drones.
Ambulante handel toegestaan
Een eerste aanpassing in het politiereglement betreft de ambulante handel op privédomein. Tot vorig jaar was het verboden om tijdens het festivalweekend zaken te verkopen vanop je privédomein. Dat is dit jaar toegestaan tussen 8 uur ’s ochtends en 18 uur ’s avonds. Word je toch betrapt op het verkopen van goederen tussen 18 uur en 8 uur? Dan worden de goederen in beslag genomen door de politie tot en met maandag na het laatste festivalweekend.
Campinggasten moet je melden bij Toerisme Vlaanderen
Wil je graag mensen te slapen leggen in je tuin, tegen betaling? Dan moet je dat vooraf melden aan de bevoegde Vlaamse overheidsdienst, in dit geval Toerisme Vlaanderen. Bovendien moet je ook alle andere wettelijke voorwaarden volgen waaraan commerciële logies moeten voldoen. Dit geldt voor campings tot en met tien personen, want voor meer dan tien personen moet je uitdrukkelijke goedkeuring hebben van de burgemeester.
Drones
Je mag vanaf nu geen drones of andere (telegeleide) vliegende objecten meer laten opstijgen tijdens het festivalweekend. De aanpassing van het politiereglement stelt een duidelijk verbod op het bezit van drones en andere (telegeleide) vliegende objecten op openbaar domein. Drones van bevoegde politiediensten zijn wel toegelaten, tijdens de uitoefening van hun werk.
